# Cookies

In short: without your consent we use only two essential cookies — to remember your language and your choice. Statistics cookies (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) are set only when you click “Accept” in the banner. There are no advertising cookies.

## What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website can store in your browser, for example to remember settings or count visitors. The browser's local storage works in a similar way.

## What we use

## Language cookie

When you open the website for the first time, we show a small card with languages at the bottom (Lithuanian, English, Russian). When you choose a language or close the card, we store a lang cookie in your browser with your choice (lt, en or ru). Next time, the website will open in that language straight away.

- Name: lang. Value: the chosen language. Valid for 12 months.
- Set by the website itself (first-party cookie), not shared with anyone, and not linked to any other data about you.
-  It is needed only for a function you asked for — remembering your language — so we do not ask for consent. If you delete the cookie, the language card will simply appear again.

## Statistics cookies

The banner asks whether we may measure visits. If you click “Accept”, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set the cookies listed below. If you click “Decline” or make no choice, these cookies are not set and statistics are collected without cookies: we do not recognise you when you come back and do not link your visits together.

## Third-party resources

Fonts and the map are hosted on our own website. For visitor statistics the Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity scripts are loaded. More in the [Privacy policy](https://incasemap.com/en/privacy#treciosios).

## How to change your choice

You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page. If you withdraw consent, we delete the statistics cookies. You can also view and delete cookies in your browser settings. The website will work without them — you will just have to choose your language again.
