## Why the InCaseMap map is useful

- **Everything in one place.** Shelters, KAS shelters, evacuation points, sirens, water, health, emergency services, roads and the border — on one map, in four countries.
- **Works offline.** All places are saved on your phone and open even when the connection or power is lost.
- **Official data.** Civil protection places, weather and alerts come from official state sources (PAGD, LHMT and others), some other places from OpenStreetMap; updated automatically.
- **More than a map.** 20 “What to do” and 38 first-aid instructions, a family group and communities — in the same app.

## Where the data comes from

Civil protection places, weather, alerts, fuel prices, charging points and road information come from official state sources in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Poland (in Lithuania — PAGD, LHMT, LEA, Via Lietuva and others); hospitals, pharmacies, water and some other places — from OpenStreetMap. The data updates automatically: alerts every 1–2 minutes, weather warnings, road disruptions, fuel prices and charger status every 2–10 minutes, river levels hourly, shelter lists monthly.

The base map uses data from [OpenStreetMap contributors](https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright) (ODbL licence). Spotted a mistake or a place that has changed? [Write to us](https://incasemap.com/en/contact).
