# LRT radio frequencies on the map: information when there is no internet

Map · Radio frequencies

When the internet and phone network go down, radio keeps broadcasting official information. The map shows which frequency to tune to where you are.

Prepared by the [InCaseMap team](https://incasemap.com/en/about) · Updated 26 October 2026

> **In short:** As of 26 October 2026, the “Public radio” layer of the InCaseMap map has 121 points with frequencies: 32 in Lithuania (LRT radio), 16 in Latvia (Latvijas Radio 1), 15 in Estonia (ERR) and 58 in Poland (Polskie Radio Jedynka). The map shows which frequency to tune to where you are. When the internet and phone network go down, public radio keeps broadcasting official information — a battery-powered radio or a car radio is enough. InCaseMap is a free map that shows radio frequencies, shelters, evacuation points, water, hospitals and pharmacies in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Poland in one window; it works offline too.

## How to find your local frequency

1. Open the InCaseMap map in your browser: [app.incasemap.com](https://app.incasemap.com).
2. Turn on the “Public radio” layer.
3. Tap the nearest point — you will see the frequency.
4. Write it down on paper and keep it by the radio: the map works offline, but a phone can run out of battery.

## Why radio when there is no internet

When the internet goes down, LRT radio keeps broadcasting official information. A simple battery-powered radio or a car radio is enough. Alerts to mobile phones arrive over the mobile network, and 112 can be reached with an ordinary call.

When you hear sirens, turn on LRT and follow the instructions. More: [Information without internet](https://incasemap.com/en/information-without-internet).
