In short: If a life is in danger, call 112 first and do what the operator says. If someone is unresponsive and not breathing normally, press the centre of the chest 100–120 times a minute and use a defibrillator. Here you will find 38 situations in four groups: life-threatening conditions, injuries, illness, and environmental hazards, poisons and animals. All 38 first-aid instructions, based on state-institution and international guidelines (Lithuanian Ministry of Health, NVSC, VVKT, ERC, IFRC), are in the InCaseMap app and work offline — together with a map of hospitals, pharmacies and shelters.

Why keep it on your phone

  • Works offline. All 38 situations are saved on your phone and open even when the connection or power is lost.
  • The map is right there. Hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, shelters and water in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Poland — on the same InCaseMap map.
  • You are not alone. In a family group you see who is safe, and in communities neighbours share what is happening nearby.
  • With sources. Steps based on the Ministry of Health, NVSC, VVKT, ERC 2025 and IFRC, with sources for every situation.

How it was prepared

Every step comes from Lithuanian law, state institutions and international guidelines: the resuscitation standards approved by Order No. V-822 of the Minister of Health, the National Public Health Centre (NVSC), the State Medicines Control Agency (VVKT), the European Resuscitation Council (ERC) 2025 and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) guidelines. Each situation lists the sources its steps come from.

The text is shortened so it can be read in a few seconds, without changing the meaning of the steps. The Lithuanian source text was checked on 5 October 2026; this translation follows it step by step and is reviewed whenever the guidelines are updated.

Does this page replace first-aid training?

No. It helps you remember the steps but does not replace hands-on training — CPR and stopping bleeding are best learned on a course.
