This policy applies to the InCaseMap website. The app's features (family group, location sharing, notifications) are described in the app’s Privacy Policy.

What data we receive

When you browse the website

Technical data that your browser sends to every website: IP address, browser and device type, time of the request. It is processed by the website's hosting provider (Hostinger) so that the website works and is protected from abuse.

Visitor statistics (Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics)

To understand how the website is used and improve it, we use Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics 4. They record which pages you open, clicks, scrolling, device and browser type and your approximate country. Clarity masks text you type. They set cookies only if you accept them in the banner. Otherwise they run without cookies: they do not recognise you when you come back and do not link your visits together.

When you write to us

Your e-mail address, name (if you give it) and the content of your message — only so that we can reply.

What we do not collect

  • The website does not require registration or an account.
  • We do not use advertising tracking. Without your consent we use only the essential cookies lang (language) and consent (your choice) — more on the Cookies page.
  • The website does not ask for or use your location: the map shows demo objects.

Third-party services

Fonts, map tiles and other files are hosted on our own website. The only exception is visitor statistics (Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics). The services we use:

Service What we use it for More
Hostinger Website hosting The provider's privacy policy
Google Analytics 4 Visitor statistics (cookies only with consent) Google privacy policy
Microsoft Clarity Visitor statistics (cookies only with consent) Microsoft privacy statement

Why and on what legal basis

  • Operation and security of the website — legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Replying to your message — your request and our legitimate interest in replying (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
  • Visitor statistics (Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics) — your consent when you allow cookies (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR); without cookies, our legitimate interest in improving the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time in “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page.

How long we keep it

  • Server logs — for as long as set out in the hosting provider's terms, and no longer than needed for security.
  • E-mail correspondence — 12 months after the last message, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
  • Clarity data — visit recordings up to 30 days, aggregated statistics up to 13 months.
  • Google Analytics data — up to 14 months.

Who we share it with

We do not sell data or use it for advertising. It can be seen only by our service providers (hosting, e-mail, Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics), to the extent necessary to provide the service, and by authorities when required by law. Microsoft and Google may also process data in the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. You can stop the statistics with your browser's tracking protection or a content blocker.

Your rights

You can ask:

  • to access your data and receive a copy of it;
  • to correct inaccurate data;
  • to erase your data or restrict its processing;
  • to object to the processing of your data on the basis of legitimate interest;
  • to transfer your data to another controller.

Write to info@incasemap.com — we will reply within one month at the latest. If you believe your rights have been infringed, you can contact the State Data Protection Inspectorate.

Changes

We will update this policy when the website or the law changes. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version.
