How it works

One map for all your preparedness

InCaseMap shows where to take shelter, where to find water and help, where your loved ones are and what is happening around you. It works on your phone and in a browser.

Prepared by the InCaseMap team Updated

In short: InCaseMap is a map that, as of 15 October 2026, shows 198,972 important places in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Poland. They include shelters, KAS shelters, evacuation points, sirens, hospitals, water, bridges and more. It works offline too and has private family and friends groups, neighbourhood communities and alerts on your phone. You can use it in the Android app (iPhone version coming soon) or in a browser.

Find the nearest safe place

Open the map and choose what to show. The 27 categories are sorted into groups: civil protection, health, emergency services, water, travel, cash, river crossings and cameras. Civil protection places have extra filters: 24/7 access and accessible for people with disabilities. The full list with counts is on the categories page.

Use it offline too

Every place on the map is saved on your phone, so you will see shelters, water or hospitals even when the connection or power is lost. How to get ready to use it offline →

Create a family group

A private group for family or friends: only invited people can see it. In an emergency, everyone reports “I'm safe” or “I need help” with one tap, can share their location and see a shared meeting point. More about the family group →

Join a community

Chats with neighbours: all of Lithuania, your city, village or even your building. If there is no community for your place yet, request one. It opens once 10 people have joined. More about communities →

Get alerts and see the weather

Air raid and situation alerts on your phone (storms, wind, fires, roads), weather warnings and map layers: wind, precipitation, temperature, river levels and air pollution. More about alerts and weather →

See what is happening on the roads

The map has 1,494 public cameras: roads, Vilnius intersections, Nida and the Belarus border crossings. The feed opens when you tap, directly from the camera owner.

Where it works

  • App — Android (Google Play), iPhone coming soon. All places are saved on your phone.

Frequently asked questions

What does the InCaseMap map show?

Important places in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Poland (198,972 in total, 27 categories), including shelters, KAS shelters, evacuation points, sirens, hospitals, outpatient clinics, pharmacies, police, fire stations, drinking water points, airports, border crossings, fuel stations, stations, ATMs, bridges, fords and public cameras.

Does InCaseMap work without internet?

Yes. Every place on the map is saved on your phone and works without internet. The internet is needed for alerts, weather, cameras, road disruptions, live charger status and chats.

How is InCaseMap different from official government websites?

InCaseMap brings places from different fields together on one map and adds family groups and communities. It does not replace official recommendations and alerts. Look for them at lt72.lt and listen to LRT.
