KAS shelters: what they are

Shelters are for hiding briefly from an immediate threat — they have their own layer. More in Shelter vs bomb shelter (KAS).

Where the data comes from

Places come from official state sources: in Lithuania from PAGD open data, in the other countries from their civil protection institutions and municipalities. The data updates automatically: alerts every 1–2 minutes, weather warnings, road disruptions, fuel prices and charger status every 2–10 minutes, river levels hourly, shelter lists monthly.

The base map uses data from OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL licence). Spotted a mistake or a place that has changed? Write to us.
