What the app shows
- How many charge points a station has and how many of them are free or busy.
- Stations that are out of order are marked; if the operator does not report the status, it shows as “unknown”.
- How long a car has been charging, e.g. “charging for 1 h” — so you can judge whether to wait.
- Connectors: Type 2, CCS, CHAdeMO.
- Station power in kW.
The status is updated live, so it needs the internet. Offline you will see station locations, connectors and power.
How to find a free charging station nearby
- Open the InCaseMap map in your browser: app.incasemap.com.
- Turn on the “Charging stations” (AC) or “Fast charging” (DC) layer.
- Keep only free stations and choose your car’s connector: Type 2, CCS or CHAdeMO.
- Pick the nearest free station and check its power.
Fast (DC) and regular (AC) charging
Fast charging stations charge with direct current (DC), mostly at 50–150 kW — good on a trip when the battery needs topping up quickly. More: Fast charging stations.
Regular stations charge with alternating current (AC), mostly up to 22 kW — good when the car stays parked longer: at work, a shop or home.
In Lithuania, Latvia and Poland
As of 23 October 2026, the app has 8,347 charging stations in total: 4,369 fast charging (DC) and 3,978 AC.
- Lithuania: 819 fast charging, 1,000 AC.
- Latvia: 481 fast charging, 148 AC.
- Poland: 3,069 fast charging, 2,830 AC.
The status is shown in all three countries. There is no charging station data for Estonia yet.
Why charging stations are on a safety map
When evacuating or on a long drive in an electric car, it matters where the nearest working, free charging station is. The same map shows shelters, hospitals and petrol stations too, so it is handy every day.
Keep the battery at least half charged — just as the Evacuation guide advises keeping the tank at least half full.
About the data
The station’s operator reports its status, and it is updated live. If the operator does not report the status, it shows as “unknown”.
